Submission Awards:By entering the CLASS Bar Awards, the entrant will be deemed to have read and understood these terms and conditions and to be bound by them. These terms and conditions include any instructions set out with the entry form. The organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to reject any entry that it deems inappropriate. Entries will only be accepted if they are submitted on the entry form completed in full and accompanied by the required entry information. Submissions should relate to activity during the eligibility period of 18th February 2023 to 15th November 2023 The organiser reserves the right to change the categories and judging panel without prior notice to entrants. Entries must be signed by the person responsible for submitting the entry and to whom all correspondence concerning the awards should be addressed. Responsibility cannot be accepted for any lost, late or mislaid entry and any entry which is damaged, defaced, illegible or incomplete, or which otherwise does not comply with these terms and conditions may be deemed invalid at the sole discretion of the organiser. All materials submitted with the entry will become the property of the organiser. The awards will be judged by a panel of judges selected by the organiser. The judges will select category finalists based on the criteria set out in the entry form. The organisers reserve the right to alter the judging panel and categories without prior notice to entrants. In all respects, the judging decision is final. The judges may decline to make an award for any category if in their opinion the entries are no entries worthy of award standard. The decision of the Chairman of the Judges on all matters affecting this competition is final and legally binding. No correspondence will be entered into. Finalists will be notified within 14 days of the shortlist being confirmed. Category finalists will only be offered three complimentary places per bar or venue at the awards ceremony taking place on Tuesday 16th April 2024. There will be one award winner selected from the finalists in each category, who will each receive a trophy which will be announced at the awards ceremony. Winners may be required to take part in some post-event publicity and consent to their name and photograph being used for such purposes. Details of the winners will be published in Class magazine, published May 2024. Entrants consent to the publication by the organiser in connection with the awards of any of the documents or materials constituting their entry. Participants consent to their names and photographs to be used in any competition publicity. Any winner may publicise the award providing the year in which it was won is stated. The organiser licences any winner to use the awards logo in connection with its award until April 15th 2025. By entering the awards all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the data controller for the purposes of the administration of the awards and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English Law and the Courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Nobody will be allowed admission to the Event without a valid ticket. Each ticket has a unique QR code and is non transferrable. If a ticket is declared void or duplicated, the ticket holder will be refused admission or removed from the event.
For the safety of people at the Event, the venue management and the Organiser reserve the right to refuse admission and conduct security searches as they deem appropriate. Please arrive early as this event is oversubscribed. Entry doors shut at 9:15pm for the awards presentation and will reopen at 10:00pm. Should you decide to leave the event, there is a strict no re-entry policy.
Tickets cannot be resold for commercial gain. If we have reason to believe that tickets have been sold, they will be invalidated, and the holder will be refused admission. The Organiser reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of any part of the Event The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject a ticket holder any person appearing to be intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, is showing signs of Covid-19 including a high temperature or a persistent cough, that is or otherwise behaving dangerously or inappropriately, for any other behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance and annoyance or for failure to comply with the reasonable request of the Organiser. Visitors may be filmed, photographed or sound recorded for broadcast, publication or security purposes whilst at the Event by the Organiser and our trusted sponsors and partners.
